Daltonlaan shooting incident: no risk to UU, according to police
This afternoon, Wednesday, March 20, a shooting incident took place near Daltonlaan 200 in Utrecht. The incident did not take place at Daltonlaan 500, which is a building rented by UU. The shooters are no longer at the scene.
There is contact with the police, who indicate that they have the situation under control and that there is no risk for employees or students of Utrecht University.
The police are heavily deployed and thus visible at the location. In case of relevant developments, they will be added to this message at a later moment in time.
