Feeling lonely in a room full of people or in a city full of friends can be very discouraging. But it is also very common. On our search for meaningful connections, we can experience unhappiness even though there are enough people around who care for us. So, we wonder if anything is wrong with us or with our relationships? Ironically, these thoughts - in turn – can impact our existing and even potential interactions.
By bringing together UU students seeking to connect to themselves as well as to others, we want to start an open conversation about mental wellbeing, moving from shared experience to shared growth. If you are curious about your relationships and mental health you are invited to sign-up via the link below.
To facilitate cohesion and growth, participation ideally includes all 5 sessions, however if you would like to join after May 30th or can’t make it to all sessions, you are still very welcome. Just let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org.
This Peer2Peer support group is an initiative from the Clinical Skills Lab - Clinical Psychology in close collaboration with the Student Wellbeing-Team. It will be hosted by our UU Alumni Angeliki Gianniou (Master Clinical Psychology), Yashna Pande (Master Clinical Psychology) & Isabel Dahmen (Master Clinical Psychology) and supervised by Anneke Vedder (Junior Assistant Professor Clinical Psychology).
The sessions will take place at Parnassos from 15pm till 17pm. Upcoming dates are:
