Univeristy-wide Honours Programmes

Descartes College

Do you want to follow an honours education and look beyond the borders of your discipline? Then maybe Descartes is the programme for you. Here, you look at your own discipline from the perspective of academia as a whole and enter discussions with students and lecturers from other disciplines. Descartes College is followed throughout your second and third year, and is taken in addition to your regular bachelor's degree.

Da Vinci Project

In the university-wide, interdisciplinary honours programme the Da Vinci Project, you will work together with students from other disciplines on sustainability issues, in collaboration with companies and government organisations. The programme is open to second- and third-year bachelor's and pre-master's students from any discipline.

Honours Summer Schools

NWIB Summer School

The NWIB Summer School is an interdisciplinary and inter-university summer course, run in collaboration with the Dutch Scientific Institutes Abroad (NWIBs). With this programme, you will research urban heritage by conducting fieldwork in Athens, Florence or Rome. You can use the summer school as part of your honours programme.
