In the hectic pace of everyday life it is important and pleasant to consciously build in moments of peace and quiet. In this way body and mind can recover from all efforts. Meditation is one of the ways to do that. It is a conscious training of attention, for which all kinds of techniques exist. In the Meditation Lab, every week low-threshold guided meditations are offered, suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. The guidance is provided by student counselors who have extensive experience with meditation and / or mindfulness.

With Students For Dinner, the online matching platform of 'Eet Mee' (Join to eat) offers you as a student the opportunity to organise a dinner meeting, or where you can sign up to join a dinner meeting somewhere. You have to eat and cook anyway, how much nicer is it if you can do that together? It does not have to be every week or even every month, and you are not tied to anything. Eet Mee's experience shows that getting to know each other while cooking and eating together contributes to a sense of connectivity.
"It was a very spontaneous and fun dinner with another student. We exchanged cultures and experiences and, above all, laughed a lot. Because of all the chatting, we hardly got around to eating."
You can organise a dinner all year round or join as a guest, or participate during the UU Wellbeing Week in November and May.
