What are the Study Abroad Weeks?
Utrecht University finds it very important that you can have an international experience during your studies. The International Office wants to inform you about this and help you prepare. Therefore we have organized several information sessions. There are information sessions for students from specific faculties, and activities (workshops and region-specific Q&As) that are open to all Utrecht University students.
Where can I ask specific questions about a destination?
These questions can be asked during the meetings. We try to answer as many substantive questions as possible at that time. Of course, it may happen that there are questions that we cannot answer immediately. We can always come back to this later or refer you to the right person who can help you further.
What if not all my questions are answered during the meetings?
Of course it may be that not all questions can be answered in the session, for example due to the amount of questions from students or limited time. If this is the case, don not worry, the chat will remain open after the session and staff will still be able to answer questions here. If this is not the case, please send an email to the International Office or make an in person or online appointment.
Which International Office should I contact with my questions?
This depends on whether you are interested in a faculty or central (university-wide) destination. The difference between the faculty and central destinations can be found on this page and will be explained during the faculty sessions. In the destination overview, on the page with information about the respective host university, you can also see with which International Office you can ask your questions. And if you have not directly written to the right person, we will refer you!
Will the meetings be recorded?
The workshops and Q&A region sessions will not be recorded. If a faculty information session is recorded, you will find recording on this page
