If you graduate at the end of the academic year, there are a few possibilities:
If you graduate in June, July, or August, then there is no need to terminate your enrolment, since termination of enrolment as of 1 July or 1 August will not entitle you to any refund of tuition fees. If you do not terminate, your enrolment will end automatically as of 1 September.
You will still have to stop your student grant and travel card from DUO as of 1 September, if you receive these. Please do so no later than this date, or you risk a fine. You may, if you choose, stop them earlier, regardless of whether you are still enrolled, but not later.
Please note: do NOT yet confirm the digital direct-debit authorisation for payment of the tuition fees! As long as you don’t provide authorisation, or don't pay the tuition fees yet, your re-enrolment will not be completed.
- It turns out you will graduate before 1 September
If you do graduate in August, withdraw your re-enrolment application via Studielink. To do so, select your re-enrolment application in Studielink under “My study programmes”, click “Withdraw enrolment application” and confirm.
You will receive confirmation from Studielink. You will not owe any tuition fees.
Remember to stop your student grant and travel card from DUO as of 1 September, and do so before this date.
- It turns out you will graduate on or after 1 September
If you will not be graduating in August, you will be able to complete your re-enrolment via Studielink during the month of September. To do so, submit your financial information and confirm the digital direct-debit authorisation for the payment of the tuition fees.
Be sure to have done so 30 September at the latest, or you will not be re-enrolled as of 1 September!
Remember to stop your student grant and travel card from DUO as soon as you graduate.
