Academic calendar | Semester I: approximately October - February |
Requirements | Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in German is required. The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses. |
Areas of study open to exchange students | Media and Cultural Studies. Students may also choose courses within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. You may choose as many courses outside the subject area as you want, as long as you receive permission for participation by the teaching professors in advance (which is usually the case). |

Language of instruction | German and English. The Centre for German as a Foreign language (Studiengebiet Deutsch als Fremdsprache) offers Erasmus students a 2-week German course before the semester starts. Nominated Erasmus students will receive information on the course in due time via email. |
