| Requirements | Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in German is required. The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses. |

| Language of instruction | German and English. The Centre for German as a Foreign language (Studiengebiet Deutsch als Fremdsprache) offers Erasmus students a 2-week German course before the semester starts. Nominated Erasmus students will receive information on the course in due time via email. |

Please note: There are waiting lists for the halls of residence because the places are not only cheap, but also very popular.
