Areas of study open to exchange students

All areas are open for exchange students. Exceptions include the Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Social Work and the Law College, which do admit students when they petition for classes.

Courses at Master’s level

Yes. All areas are open for exchange students; exceptions include the Masters of Business Administration, Masters in Social Work and the Law College. The College of Law will accept students to sit for one or two courses when they petition for classes.

No assistance available for incoming foreign students. However, students can apply for on-campus housing though the Residence Life and Dining Service Office.

Normal study load per term
undergraduate students – 12 credit hours – 4 courses on average
Graduate students - 9 credit hours – 3 courses

One credit is equal to 15 in class contact hours /one professor contact hour per week.

Course level:
1000 – 2000 Introductory level; First & Second Year
3000 – 4000 Upper division; Second, Third & Fourth Year
4000 – 5000 Graduate level

Grading system: A=4.00 / F=1.00
Minimum pass: C for Major or D for Electives
Graduate students usually have to get a B, or a 3.00 to pass their courses.
