Students with Advanced Hebrew skills can take classes in the General University.

Courses at Master’s level


Language of instruction

Courses in the International School are taught in English at a variety of departments within the University of Haifa.

Students who choose to study at the International School for a semester or year are welcome to enroll in any of the courses offered by the International School.

In addition, students may take courses offered in the various departments of the university, assuming the student is sufficiently proficient in Hebrew and fulfills the prerequisites.

You should plan to spend $500-$600 per month for food, independent travel, and incidental expenses. You may need a bit more for the first month to cover initial purchases of household items and books.

A full-time student will enroll in 12-18 credits, or 3-5 classes per semester. 1 Study Abroad Credit = 1.5 ECTS.

A+ = 97-100
A = 93-96
A- = 90-92
B+ = 87-89
B = 83-86
B- = 80-82
C+ = 77-79
C = 73-76

C- = 70-72

D+ = 67-69
D = 63-66

D- = 60-62
F = Below 60

There is no pass/fail option in the International School
