Academic calendar

Semester I: 2nd week of September – 3rd week of December
Semester II:  3rd week of January – 2nd week of May

Orientation generally commences the 2nd week of September for Semester I and the 2nd week of January for Semester II.

Exams take place in December for Semester I and in May for Semester II.

There is no GPA requirement for this destination.

Language Requirement

Students are expected to have a good level of English in order to be able to follow classes.

No. The majority of modules available to Erasmus students are at the bachelor level.

Unfortunately, UCC cannot guarantee accommodation to exchange students. On-campus housing is available and can be applied for, but the university also offers advise to students seeking accommodation off-campus.

Normal study load per term in credits:  30 ECTS, in courses: 2 – 6.

Grading system: 0% - 100%
Minimum pass is: 40%

8 places per year. 

Selection

Selection was necessary in the past few years.

You are advised not to place this exchange destination as a second or third choice.

If you are able to go in the second semester, your chances of getting selected are higher.
