Academic calendar

Semester I: mid-September – mid-January

A B1 level in French is necessary (B2 being strongly recommended) to study at Sciences Po Strasbourg. Non-French speaking applicants will need to pass a French Language Proficiency test.

Areas of study open to UU students

You can only take courses at the Institude d’Études Politiques (IEP)

Language of instruction

Mainly courses in French, limited courses in English. You need to show your proficiency in the language of instruction if courses are not in English.

Housing assistance

The IEP has a quota of about 50 rooms in Halls of Residence. They are apportioned on a first come first served basis. The IEP also sends information concerning housing in the private sector.
