Requirements

Language: 6 semesters of Spanish and/or a Cervantes Institute Certificate B1 is required for application at Universidad de Chile. Make sure you apply for the Cervantes test, only possible in November. Registration in Sept and October.

Areas of study open to exchange students

The Universidad de Chile offers international visiting students freedom to select their courses of studies, according to previous academic experience and ability to work in Spanish, allowing them to request registration in any course offered during their stay.

Universidad de Chile doesn’t have student residences, but the program gives assistance with a data base of Chilean families for housing, and each accepted student has information about housing in their acceptance package.
