Language: 6 semesters of Spanish and/or a Cervantes Institute Certificate B1 is required for application at Universidad de Chile. Make sure you apply for the Cervantes test, only possible in November. Registration in Sept and October.

Housing assistance

Universidad de Chile doesn’t have student residences, but our program gives assistance with a data base of Chilean families for housing, and each accepted student has information about housing in their acceptance package.

Transport: US$ 150.-
Photocopies: US$ 150. - (per semester)
Books: US$ 400. - (per semester)

Normal study load per term
in credits: 30 – 45 credits per semester
in courses: 3 or 4 courses per semester

Grading system: 1 to 7 (maximum grade: 7)
Minimum pass: 4.0

Number of places available

4 places per year. Selection was necessary in the past few years.
