Academic calendar

Semester I: 1st week of September – December (before Christmas) (orientation: the week before semester begins)
Semester II: 1st or 2nd week of January – end of April (orientation: the week or a few days before semester begins)

Requirements

Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, although applications with a slightly lower GPA will also be considered.

Courses at Master’s level

Most master courses are open to exchange students, with some exceptions.

Language of instruction

Courses are conducted in English, Cantonese or Putonghua/Mandarin. For language of instruction for a specific course, please refer to the “Course information” website listed above.

Housing assistance

Undergraduate exchange students are guaranteed in on-campus housing and are assigned to double or triple-occupancy rooms. 

On-campus housing is assigned automatically; application is not required.
