Housing assistance

On-Campus Housing is limited and therefore not guaranteed to students.
• Students can indicate interest in living on-campus via their online application. Upon submission of the complete application, students will be considered on a first come, first serve basis until slots are filled.
• The on-campus dorm for exchange students is Weaver Hall. Weaver Hall is part of the International Living Learning Community.
• Since housing is not guaranteed on campus, lots of students choose to live off campus. UF offers support for off-campus housing through the Off Campus Life office. Ultimately, students are responsible for their own off campus housing.

Students are encouraged to contact the Office of Off Campus Life for information and assistance with off-campus accommodation.

Campus Facilities

For students living off campus, there are many bikes or electric scooters available to get to campus. With a student ID, students can get free bus transport. A drivers license is not deemed necessary.

Campus facilities include a gym, a cafeteria, and a pool.

The UF campus is situated one and a half hours from the beach.

In the area surrounding the campus, there is lots of nature in the form of state parks and natural springs.

Estimated living costs per month

The average cost of living for its students is estimated at around $2,300/month.

You can find a more detailed breakdown of living costs here.
