Please note that there is an overlap in semesters. Should you have an exam in Utrecht at the end of January, it might be that you will have to travel back to Utrecht for it. Uppsala does not always have the possibility to facilitate an exam for Utrecht University.

Requirements

Language of instruction: English and Swedish

Language requirement: minimum of B2 language level (CEFR) in English/Swedish   

ECTS requirement: Students should have obtained 120 ECTS of Law courses when their exchange semester starts.

Please note, living in Sweden can be costly, and SEK 8010 per month is the absolute minimum amount of money that you will require. It is important to remember that the cost of living will vary from person to person, depending on their lifestyle. Aside from rent and food, students will have expenses such as text books, transportation and socialising. Look here for more information.

Credits

All second level courses, including the law courses in English, run for ten or twenty weeks and represent 15 or 30 ECTS-credits each.

Additional information

Intensive language course for beginners may be offered during summer (August and early September), limited amount of places. 

There is also a part time course for beginners during the autumn and/or spring semester. Starting in mid-September and finishing in December or in mid-February and finishing in May.
