Additional information

Number of places available: 1 student for a full year (or 1 student for the first and 1 student for the second semester)
We advise students to go for a full year exchange, but applying for semester 1 is also possible. Semester 2 is only available on request because of the limited courses available.

When splitting up the place into 2 places for a semester, both students are at a disadvantage (particularly the second semester student) as a number of the modules are full year in duration, or entry onto some subjects in the second semester is conditional upon having studied a particular module in the first semester. If that second semester student is predominantly interested in LLM level modules, then they can usually be accommodated okay, subject to the module convenor permitting their participation.

This is why we recommend students to apply for the whole year as they then have the full range of module choices.
