Accommodation: the University of Hull reserves rooms for study abroad students at The Lawns (a student village). They will email you details about how to apply in your course confirmation. If demand exceeds supply, they will direct you to alternative accommodation in the private sector.

Language of instruction

Language requirements: B2.

Erasmus students who are EU nationals do not need to provide formal proof of language ability. A statement signed from the International Exchange Office will be sufficient.

Students who are of a nationality outside of Europe will be required to provide proof of English Language. 


Students who are of non EU Nationality applying for 1 semester only will need to apply for a Short-Term Study Visa.

Students who are of non EU nationality may be required to obtain a tier 4 visa to study in the UK for longer than 6 months.
