University of East London is an exchange destination for bachelor and master students of Utrecht University School of Law.

 

Academic calendar

Semester I: September up to December, 
Semester II: February up to and including June

Students spending the first term at UEL will only need to return after the Christmas holidays if one of their modules has an exam

Language requirements

*NEW*

English language requirements for Dutch students: Grade 7 or above in English language in VWO, HAVO or MBO. 
Please note that an English score as described above, would be invalidated where a later result does not meet the requirements.

Students are allowed to pick 50% from their classes from other schools. 

Courses

As of 2018 master courses are available as well and master students can be accepted as exchange students for a semester.

In the past some Utrecht University had problems registering for courses. However this has been solved since September 2017.

Estimated living costs per month

Living costs can vary according to lifestyle but generally we recommend that students allow approx. £1000 for every month of the course inclusive of food, accommodation and all other living costs

Visa

Students who are of non EU Nationality applying for 1 semester only will need to apply for a Short-Term Study Visa.

Students who are of non EU nationality may be required to obtain a tier 4 visa to study in the UK for longer than 6 months.
