Academic calendar

1st semester/term: from / to Mid September – Early February
2nd semester/term: from / to Early/mid February – Mid July

Language of instruction

Spanish / Catalan (only some courses in English!)

Required level of Spanish: minimum B1 (CEFR), but B2 (CEFR) recommended!!!!

Required: students are allowed to select courses from other UB faculties provided the percentage of credits completed outside the faculty of Law does not exceed 49%

Important: Spanish language courses taken at UB might be included in the Learning agreement, but the final grades of these courses will not be part of the transcript of records issued by the Faculty of Law (so credits cannot be submitted in Utrecht)

A proficiency letter B2 for English spoken courses is sufficient for application. It can be provided by the (faculty) International Exchange Office

Places available: 4 students for a semester or 2 students for a full year (or a combination of the former)

Please note that if you follow courses at another faculty (for example at the Economics Faculty), it might take some time before your transcripts is ready. This could become a problem if you want to graduate.
