Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) is an exchange destination for bachelor and master students of Utrecht University School of Law.
Term 1: September up to and including December
Term 2: January up to and including March
Term 3: April up to and including June
Each term consists of 10 weeks of classes and 2 weeks for the exams. Orientation days are planned to welcome exchange students at the beginning of each term. Attendance to these sessions is compulsory.
Language of instruction: Catalan, Spanish & English
Most courses are taught in Spanish and although there are some courses available in English. It is possible to only follow courses given in English, however you might have reduced choice. The reason for this is that the English taught courses are often full or not available when you try to register for them.
Language requirement: minimum of B2 language level (CEFR) in Spanish, B2 in English strongly recommended
Law, Criminology and Labour Relations.
Courses from other faculties are restricted and upon availability.
Normal study load: 60 ECTS per year - 20 ECTS per term
