Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is an exchange destination for bachelor students of Utrecht University School of Law
Semester 1: September up to and including January
Semester 2: Mid January up to and including May
Language of instruction: Spanish (only some courses in English). Most courses are taught in Spanish and although there are some courses available in English, you will have to be prepared to follow mainly Spanish courses. The reason for this is that the English taught courses are often full or not available when you try to register for them. Hence, if your level of Spanish is not sufficient, you might not be able to reach the minimum amount of ECTS for the Erasmus+ grant!
Language requirement: minimum of B1, but preferably B2 language level CEFR in Spanish.
The cost of living in Madrid is one of the highest of all cities in Spain. You will need between 500€ to 1000€ a month to cover basic costs (accommodation, food, electricity, heating, transport, etc.).
Normal study load per semester: 30 ECTS
3 places per year
