Academic calendar

Semester I: September - December

Semester II: January - half of May


Language of instruction is French, required level B2!
Most courses are taught in French (only a small chance that courses taught in English will be available)
You will be asked to upload a B2 language certificate when you fill in your application at Toulouse University

Areas of study open for exchange students

Allowed to follow all lectures in the Faculty of law and in the Faculty of administration and communication + allowed to take one lecture per semester in the School of management except the ones taught in English. In the School of economics they will be allowed to take all courses from the 1st year to the 2nd year and only one course per semester from the 3rd year to the Master 1

Cost of living

The average cost of living for a student in Geneva is approximately CHF 2,000 per month.
This includes rent (~CHF 500*), food and basic necessities (~CHF 600), and health insurance (~CHF 100). *Housing in student residences.
Students will have to prove financial capacity (statement of account and assets), both for visa and residence permit requests.
