Student experiences

UCU students who go on exchange to Yale-NUS come back with overwhelmingly positive experiences. The study programme at the university is very well organised, and the academic quality of courses is high, with a lot of class engagement. A downside of this is that the workload can be quite demanding as well, but most students didn’t mind this since the courses were interesting and in-depth. The campus housing is just outside of the city, about as expensive at UCU and close to the academic buildings.

The city of Singapore can be expensive and a bit of a “bubble”, but many students don’t experience this as an obstacle since they can easily take trips to neighbouring countries during breaks.

This destination will definitely challenge you and take you to the next step in your academic career!
