Nomination/registration at Faculty of Humanities, taking courses at other faculties is possible. The following subject areas are not open for exchange students: Medicine, Dentistry, Fine Art, Design and Music Performance/Composition.
6 semester places at faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (Geosciences and biology excluded). There are also 6 semester places in humanities, social sciences and law (nomination/registration necessary at the faculty of Humanities)

English and Norwegian. UiB offers a large number of courses taught in English for exchange students. You can apply for courses taught in Norwegian if you are proficient in one of the Scandinavian languages (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish)
