Requirements

Language requirement: a B1 language level (CEFR) in Spanish is required. The International Office (HUM) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.

Course requirement: In order to guarantee places in Spanish Philology modules to those International students who are majoring in Spanish or have Spanish as a minor at their home institution, Granada accepts pre-registration applications for Spanish modules from these students ONLY. Students should choose 60% of their modules from their major/minor (their equivalent at our university).

Subjects are taught in Spanish, except the specific Languages courses, which are taught in the respective language.

Estimated living costs per month

The city of Granada is considered one of the cheapest cities to live as a student both in Spain and Europe. Costs will range from €550 to €650 a month.

  •  Living in a shared apartment (bills included): €200 - €250 per person per month.
  •  Eating a full meal at the university refectory: €3,50 -  €4
  •  A single city-bus ticket costs €1.40. If you obtain a bus card, the price is €0.87 per trip and with the University bus pass the cost is €0.61 per trip. A monthly pass costs about €41.
