Academic calendar | Semester I: 2nd week of September – 2nd week of January Orientation generally commences early September for Semester I and mid February for Semester II. Exams take place the 1st and 2nd week of January for Semester I and the 2nd and 3rd week of June for Semester II. |

Housing assistance | Housing provided by the university is limited and divided on a first come, first served base. THU will try prioritizing university-level exchange students with on-campus accommodation at Zijing Foreign Student Apartment. The charges differ based on different room types. Expect to pay 40 RMB per day for a double room and 80 RMB a day for a single room. |
