Requirements | A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required (when applying at UU), but for USE students is agreed on a minimum average of 6,5 at UU. |
Areas of study open to exchange students | Economics, Business Administration and Finance Courses available (example): Game Theory Courses offered in 2022-23 can be used as a reference to what will be offered in 2023-24 and are available here. Go to Public Access under "Teaching Timetable" or look at planned course offering. Exchange students are required to maintain a full load of courses in order to meet immigration policies. The minimum course load at CUHK per semester is 9 units (three 3-unit courses) and the maximum course load is 18 units (six 3-unit courses). Exchange students normally take between four and five courses per academic term. If your students are required to meet the course load requirements of home institution, please remind them accordingly. |
Language requirements | No language requirement is needed for students who study an English taught BA. Language of instruction: English (possibility; Cantonese & Putonghua) |

Orientation/introduction | Orientation activities are organized to help students adapt to the new environment at CUHK. It covers information on the curriculum, study life, Chinese culture, Hong Kong society and support services available.
