Semester II: last week of July – 3rd week of November

Orientation generally commences the 1st week of February for Semester I and the 2nd week of July for Semester II. 

Exams take place late May to early June for Semester I and in November for Semester II.

Besides that, all exchange students are obliged to pay an Exchange Administrative Fee (EAF) of  R4,850 per semester  (= appr €500). About half of this fee is for registration, the other half if for your own usage, such as internet, printing for courses, the gym, student societies etc.
