Please note that all students have to pay the semester fee (250.00 - 300.00 €). This fee is not a tuition fee, but includes a fee payable to the university administration, social fees for the so-called Studentenwerk (Student Services Organization) and the fee for the semester ticket (which indeed comes in handy and pays off as you can use public transportation in all of Hesse for free).
