Central European University (Vienna) is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Vienna, Austria.

CEU was originally located in Budapest, but since September 2020 they have relocated to Vienna.

Requirements

Language requirement: a minimum language level of C1 (CEFR) in English is required.

Areas of study open to exchange students

Arts & Humanities. Courses taught here are:

  • History
  • Philosophy
  • Religious Studies
  • Gender Studies

Students can take up to 50 percent of their courses (reflected in the number of ECTS) at other departments within the university, as long as they still hold 50% of their courses in the departments mentioned above.
