Yes, exchange students can apply for accommodation in Bocconi Residence Halls. University housing is not guaranteed and is processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Estimated living costs per month
  • Housing: between 500€ (shared bedroom in private apartments) and 900€  
  • Food: a complete meal at the university canteen is approx. 4€ (reduced rate for exchange students)
  • Transportation: 22€ (monthly pass for students under 26)
                             35€ (monthly pass for students over 26) 
  • Bocconi Gym: 20€ (exchange students rate: 100€ for 5 months)

Exchange students are expected to select from min. 2 up to max. 5 courses per semester. The Università Bocconi credit system is ECTS equivalent. The average workload for exchange students is 4 courses per semester.


Grades are given on a scale of 30/30:

  • 0 to 17 failing grades
  • 18 to 30 passing grades
