University of Vaasa is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Vaasa, Finland.

Autumn Semester: approximately end of August – December
Spring Semester: approximately January – May
Language requirement: a minimum language level of B2 (CEFR) in English and/or Finnish is required. More information about language requirements.
The agreement is for communication, so students can take courses in Communication within the Faculty of Philosophy. Students may also choose other courses within the Faculty. In some cases it is also possible to choose courses from other faculties, but there are restrictions. When choosing courses, background studies will be taken into consideration.

The cost of living in Finland is on average comparable to the rest of Western Europe. For basic expenses such as food, rent, and transportation, a student will need 500 – 800 euros per month, which will be roughly spent in the following way:
Rent 250 – 400 €

Normal study load per semester: 30 ECTS
