Language requirement: a minimum language level of B2 (CEFR) in the language of instruction (Dutch/English) is required.

Areas of study open to exchange students

Arts & Humanities. Subjects taught here include:

Students may take 40% of their courses at other faculties within the university. Please note that Gender Studies is a collaboration between several Belgian institutions and you might need to travel to Brussels for some courses. You can contact the host university obtain more information.

Housing assistance

The University of Ghent has a Housing Office that rents out rooms, studios and flats to international students. Their staff and visitors and can inform and advise you about the private rented sector.
