Université Paris Diderot 7 is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Paris, France.

Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in French is required.
The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.
Humanities and Arts
Students can choose from courses offered by the department Arts, Literatures, Languages.
All courses are taught in French except for some courses within the Department of English studies and Language courses.
The University Paris Diderot only has 95 rooms allocated in five residences for all the International and Erasmus students. As a consequence, we cannot guarantee accommodation for every student. Accommodations are either on campus or off campus, near metro stations, with kitchenette, bathroom facilities and internet access.
Rent: around 750 €/month for a room (in Paris)
Transport fares: around 65 €/month for Paris (Zone 1-2)
N.B. a student discount pass can be purchased (“Imagin’R”). For more information, please check the website.
Food: 250 €/month
Cinema tickets: around 10 € (possibility of student discounts)
Note that it is very difficult for exchange students to get a part-time job. So it is important that students have enough funding to cover the expected costs of their stay at Paris, which should be at least 600/800 Euros (or equivalent in the student’s currency) per month for the expected period of stay.
N.B: Please note that the university does not provide scholarship for incoming exchange students.
Normal study load per semester: 30 ECTS
4 places per year.
