Requirements | Courses at UZH are mainly held in German. Courses in English are offered in several fields of study. We recommend a minimum level of B2 in the language of instruction. Students who intend to take courses in German or English Literature and Linguistics, and who are non-native speakers of the respective language, are expected to have a standard of proficiency at the level of C1 of the CEFR in the respective language. In philology courses the language of instruction is often the language of the region studied. The language of instruction can be found in the Course Catalogue. |
