Language requirement: a minimum language level of B2 (CEFR) in English/German is required.
N.B. for courses in German or English Literature and Linguistics a C1 level in the respective language is required.

Areas of study open to exchange students

Students can take either courses in Dutch Language and Culture (BA/MA), History (BA/MA), Musicology (BA/MA), Philosophy (BA/MA), and Religion (MA). 

Note that students are allowed to take courses outside the above departments only if it is agreed upon by the relevant departmental coordinator.

Grant information

Funding through the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) rather than Erasmus+.
Your application for an exchange in the frame of the Swiss-European Mobility Programme is also an application for a grant financed by the Swiss Confederation. However, your acceptance as an exchange student at UZH is no guarantee that you will receive such a grant.
