University of Cadiz Logo.

Universidad de Cádiz is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor students of the faculty of Humanities in Cádiz, Spain.

"Yes, I would definitely recommend to go to Cádiz. It is not a big city, so you will quickly feel at home. It is a beautiful and historical city, people are friendly and you have loads of opportunities to practice your Spanish. Also, because Cádiz is a smaller city and less touristic, you have the opportunity to really get to know the real Spanish/Andalucian culture." - experience from a former exchange student

Language requirement: A minimum of B1 language level (CEFR) in Spanish is required. To prove it, you need to send a certificate together with the application form to the university of Cádiz when applying. As an exception, they can accept an A2 certificate of Spanish Language at the time of applying, but the student has to prove a B1 level of Spanish in September or follow the Spanish Language Course that organizes their Language Centre before the semester starts in September.
