Requirements | B1 language level (CEFR) in Spanish is required. The International Office (HUM) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses. |
Areas of study open to exchange students | Subject area: Languages. Students are allowed to take courses at the 'Faculty of Philology'. Courses taught here include:
Students can also choose courses from faculties, as long as more courses are taken within the Faculty of Philology than outside the Faculty. |

Language of instruction | Spanish The University of Salamanca offers, at the beginning of each semester (September, October and November for the 1st semester, and February/March for the 2nd semester), a Spanish intensive course to all Erasmus students who wish to take it. Students must pay fees for course materials and linguistic consulting. More information can be found here. |
Housing assistance | The Office of International Relations and Cooperation of the University of Salamanca will help you as much as possible. However, students are responsible for finding accommodation. |
Estimated living costs per month | Student expenses will vary according to the type of accommodation. However, €800 a month is the approximate amount needed to cover basic costs of rent, transport, food, etc. This information is subject to change. It is meant to be an indication.
