Masaryk University (Brno) is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Brno, Czech Republic.
Semester I: approximately mid-September - mid-February
Semester II: approximately mid-February - mid-July
Language requirement: a minimum language level of B2 (CEFR) in English is required.
Students can take courses within the Faculty of Arts. Subjects taught here cover Communication, Dutch Language and Culture, German Studies, and Media. Students are also allowed to take 50 percent of their courses outside the department within the university. The departmental coordinator at MU has the final say in this matter and the percentage can therefore vary. There is no guarantee that the student will be accepted to the courses outside the faculty.
Languages: priority is given to students who participate in an NVT-stage

There are many courses available that are taught in English.
Czech language courses are also available.
Normal study load per semester: 30 ECTS
Humanities, Languages: 2 places per year.
