Requirements

Language requirement: a minimum CEFR language level of:

  • B1 in German
    The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.
  • C1 for courses taught in English
Areas of study open to exchange students

MA students have to take a majority of their courses within the 'Department for English and American Studies' with the masters Moving Cultures and Anglophone Literatures, Cultures and Media. Subjects that are taught here cover English Studies and Literature.

Students are allowed to choose another course within the Faculty of Modern Languages.
