Université Libre de Bruxelles - Institut Supérieur des Traducteurs et Interprètes (ISTI) is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Brussels, Belgium.
There are currently no student experiences available.
Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in French is required.
The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.
Semester I: September – January
Semester II: February – June
Students can take courses at the Département de Traduction et Interprétation (ISTI-Cooremans). Courses here are focused on becoming an interpreter (mother tongue French). Some courses are in Law, Economy, and Philosophy, but most courses revolve around Languages, and French Language and Culture.
Students can choose to take courses in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, German, English, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
Note: students are not allowed to take some specific courses for interpreters (master 1 and 2).

Normal study load per semester: 30 ECTS
