Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Weimar, Germany.

Semester II: April - July
Language requirement: a minimum language level of B2 (CEFR) in English is required.
For courses in German a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in German is required.
The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.
The Erasmus agreement covers the subjects Communication, Journalism, Media, Media management at the Faculties of Media, Art and Design and Photography.
Note that priority is given to students coming from Communication, Performing Arts, Media.

Living expenses are relatively lower in Weimar than in other university towns and cities in Germany. According to recent statistics provided by the German Studentenwerk (2016), students in Germany pay an average of 819 Euros per month to cover all their expenses. These include the cost of rent, food, transportation, recreation, insurance, medical treatment, clothing, phone, Internet access and learning materials.
