Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg is an exchange destination for Utrecht University Bachelor and Master students of the faculty of Humanities in Freiburg, Germany.

Semester II: approximately April - July
Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in English/German is required.
The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses.

Erasmus agreement: History. Students coming through this agreement are expected to take at least 50% of their courses at the History department. Courses in other related fields are open to Erasmus students. The admission process for these courses can be different from the one at the History department. Students are expected to contact the teaching staff in advance. In practice, admission is almost never a problem.
The History department is within the Faculty of Philosophy.
