At the University of Liège a majority of courses are taught in French. Therefore you need to have sufficient proficiency of the language, both written and oral, to understand courses and to take part effectively in seminars and practicals. You have to join to your Application Form a document testifying to your level of French. The minimal required level is B1 (Common European Framework of Reference). For courses taught in English a B1 certificate is required. Erasmus Mundus Masters courses (EMMC) and Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorates (EMJD) are taught in English. For more information, click here.
