Why participate during the Warm Welcome?

It is essential that you get the best preparation when you are about to start your programme at Utrecht University. 

 

The events of the Orientation are specially designed for international students who are new to the city and the University. This way you will get a quick and fun introduction to your new environment.

Not convinced? Here are some more reasons why you should join! 

  • Meet your fellow international students!

You will be placed in a group of approximately 10 to 20 new students. A perfect way to start making new friends! An experienced second year student, Dutch with exchange experience or international, will act as guide. 

  • Get acquainted with your faculty and/or programme.

Learn more about your faculty and education programme when you attend your faculty introduction.

  • Get first-hand experience with Dutch Student Life.

Through our online platform, you will get the opportunity to get some insight into Dutch student life! Various student associations, sport associations and cultural assocations will present themselves. You will have the chance to ask them questions and maybe even join one of them!
