Living Landscapes

During the transdisciplinary summer school Living Landscapes you change your relationship with the space in which you live. Together with local stakeholders, you give a voice to the Amsterdam Wester Scheg region and help maintain, restore, and regenerate the local community, economy and nature.

About the programme

Whether you’re pursuing a philosophical or artistic research project, the Living Landscapes summer school offers many opportunities. You create your own unique learning path. We help you find the right resources and inspiration. The outcomes feed a bottom-up, multi-stakeholder process between governments, local farmers, businesses and civil society.

Living Landscapes will give you insight into the principles and frameworks for regenerative place development. You discover different ways in which to do this and learn the underlying theory. Additionally, you will build a community and experience how a place works in a short amount of time. During a final exhibition, you will share your experiences and what you’ve learned.
