Arrival Spring 2026 - Exchange Students
We look forward to welcoming all new exchange students to University College Utrecht for the start of the spring semester of 2026/27. To help ensure your arrival goes smoothly, this page contains important information about planning for and after arrival.

Planning your arrival
You should plan to arrive on Monday 19 January 2026, any time between 9 AM and 5 PM, when the UCU Arrival team is there to welcome you and hand you your keys to your new room.
You will be sent a form to indicate your approximate time of arrival. You can also indicate on this form whether you would like to order a bedding package. Please find the directions to University College Utrecht and a map of the campus (at the bottom of the page) below.
Orientation week, known at UCU as Introweek, will be from the 20th to the 23rd of January, this is mandatory for all exchange students.
The semester will start on the 26th of January and end of the 13th of May. For further dates regarding the semester, including catch-up exams the week after and the optional summer term period, please refer to the academic calendar.
Upon Arrival to Campus
Upon arrival you will receive the keys to your room and mailbox. You will also be able to collect your pre-ordered bedding package and/or buy one on the day. Student association representatives will be there to hand you the introweek programme booklet and help find your room if needed!
