Uppsala University is a destination within the European Liberal Arts Network (ELAN) for University College Utrecht students, located in Uppsala, Sweden.
Since this is an ELAN-destination, the focus will be on Humanities and/or language courses.

Fall Semester: Beginning of September – Mid-January
Spring Semester: Mid-January – Beginning of June
English. Swedish courses can be available to students who are proficient in Swedish B2 level.
All courses listed on this page are open to exchange students and are taught in English. Restricted subject areas include Business, Law (at least two years of prior full time Law studies are required), Psychology, Medicine and Natural Sciences. You can apply for an Intensive Basic Swedish Summer Course for 7.5 ECTS that is free of charge for exchange students (contact the UCU International Office if you are interested).
Uppsala uses the ECTS credit system, just like UCU.
Some courses at Uppsala University may be graded as a pass/fail-course; please contact UCU International Office for the most up-to-date information about this.
Housing is not guaranteed, but the University can help find housing and exchange students are welcome to apply for housing at the University. More information here.

An Orientation Programme is arranged prior to the semester start, and provides students with information about all kinds of facilities and activities they need in order to make the most of their stay in Uppsala. A buddy program is also available; more information here.
