SPiCE-UCU is all about bringing students and teachers together to collaboratively create courses that truly resonate with our unique learning community. By partnering with students and forming student-teacher pairs, we’re excited to develop practical and inspiring methods that everyone can use, not just here, but at other institutions too!

Aim of SPiCE-UCU

By bringing together resources and creating engaging learning opportunities for both students and teachers, we’re excited to explore fresh ways of working and learning! This collaboration will not only shape the procedures of the Board of Studies through co-creating the curriculum but also enhance specific courses.

In SPiCE-UCU, Student partners work with teachers and students to advise the Board of Studies on pedagogy. They lead projects engaging with members of the learning community. Students work directly with their teachers in student-teacher teams, engaging in co-creation in specific courses. Both Student partners and student teacher teams are part of a bigger project and involved in workshops
