Students of the Teacher Degree track and students with a second degree qualification
For a total of 15 EC, you have to choose 5 to 10 EC from vocational preparatory pedagogical-didactical electives (Dutch: beroepsvoorbereidend pedagogisch-didactische keuzecursussen), and 5 to 10 EC from vocational preparatory electives (Dutch: beroepsvoorbreidende keuzecursussen).

You can choose electives from the list below but also from a wider range of Master's courses, provided they align with the SEC programme's learning goals and offer sufficient depth and coherence (see Education and Examination Regulations, appendix).
You may also choose courses like MasterMath, Chem4all, Natk4all, or Inf4all, pending approval from the Board of Examiners. Consult the procedure for requesting approval before submitting your request.
Note: Registration periods may occur months in advance, particularly for the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Students of the Research and Development track
You need to choose electives for a total of 25 EC.
You can choose electives from the list below but also from a wider range of Master's courses, provided they align with the SEC programme's learning goals and offer sufficient depth and coherence (see Education and Examination Regulations, appendix).
